The rooms were damp, barely decorated, badly lit, and covered in horrible wallpaper. There was a smell of smoke, and no AC remotes. It was kind of clean and the location was middling. I was stuck sleeping here and do NOT recommend it.

The rooms could use renovation, but the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was okay by Italian standards. Parking a bus was difficult, though possible. There's a bakery nearby with good coffee.

I only wish I'd stayed longer. I spent two nights here while visiting Rome, and Santina and her son Ludo were friendly, polite, and happy to answer questions or help with any concerns. They knew the area well and, since I don't speak Italian, helped arrange transportation. After I got back to London, they even checked that I'd arrived home safely.

I was happy with my stay. The hotel is in a quiet spot away from the centre, which suited me since I didn't mind travelling into Rome for sightseeing. The rooms were clean, and the friendly hosts were helpful and ready to answer my questions.

A very nice family hotel, with really tasty food.
