The staff are friendly, and there’s a nice choice of meat and fish dishes at this restaurant in the centre of Foppolo. I enjoyed the food, though service can be slow at times.

The owners, a husband and wife, were so welcoming, and the food was wonderful. It’s all homemade, including the pasta and desserts. Definitely worth trying!

We paid €55 each for a New Year’s Eve takeaway, but the portions were ridiculously small and the food only mediocre. For €135, the polenta taragna had just a few pieces of cheese, and they hadn’t even melted. The bill covered a €15 first course, a €25 main course and €15 polenta taragna. Ordering it was a frustrating process, too. We called in mid-December and were told to come by the day before to pick the menu. On December 30th, after making us wait half an hour, they asked for our number and said they’d send the menu on WhatsApp. We went back on New Year’s Eve and waited another half hour. I can understand a “cresta” on New Year’s Eve, but not those quantities and that quality.

We stopped in for lunch while out walking. The place is simple, the staff are easygoing and friendly, and the food is varied and tasty. Good value for the price.
