We meant to stop for just one night on our way home, but ended up staying a second because Villa Ortensie was so relaxing and nice. We spent two days there in August 2018. The owner was very friendly and helpful, always smiling. I've stayed in plenty of hotels, and this was probably the cleanest place I've ever been. Breakfast was unbelievable for a B&B, with lots of fresh options, though quite sweet in the Italian style.

Dinner at Il Platano Da Gira is definitely worth considering. The B&B is right on the main road, so check that your GPS is directing you correctly. We came after a day at Lake Iseo looking for a comfortable night, and found it here. Check-in was straightforward, with courtyard parking, a spacious separate bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and bottled water. They even arranged breakfast, though we unfortunately had to leave before we could have it.

A fantastic breakfast was the highlight, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Parking was available too. We really liked this B&B, and its location works well for visiting Lake Iseo.

The room was on the small side, but cozy, nicely decorated, and had a very comfortable bed. The owners were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic: the hostess asked what we wanted, prepared it for us, and was lovely to chat with. We really enjoyed our stay, especially for the value.
