Santa Maria Apartments

The place is peaceful, clean, and great if you're after some rest and time in nature. We felt at home thanks to a very welcoming, attentive host. She even shared fresh fruit and vegetables from her own garden, such a thoughtful little touch. We had a lovely stay at B&B Santa Maria Garden & Relax and would definitely come back. The garden was beautifully maintained, everything was clean, and the owner was incredibly kind. My husband and I stayed for a week in a lovely, modern, welcoming apartment, with access to the pool. We got several very relaxing days out of it and enjoyed ourselves so much that we're planning to return in December.

At 3:00 PM, in 35-degree heat, with a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old, we decided to head home. The owner was kind and refunded the stay, but what a stressful mess. We'd booked for a specific date and time, yet the room meant to be a triple only had a double bed. The bigger issue was that relatives and friends were using the property for a party that day, and they started clearing the room only after we arrived. I spoke with the manager, who apologized but thought we were coming the next day. He offered us a night at the property next door and suggested we return the following day. It could've been a wonderful weekend, but the organization was terrible.

The bed was really comfortable, and check-in and check-out were easy. Communication with the host was excellent, and the place was spotless and peaceful, just right for switching off. My only suggestion would be thicker curtains, since the window faces east and lets the sun in. Thanks as always, see you next time.
