The staff were so kind that they made us feel like old friends, and every morning began with a delicious breakfast. We spent a week at Hotel Semiramis and loved the peaceful garden, relaxing thermal pool, and beautiful sea view. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back.

The cats were the highlight of my holiday. They wander around and enjoy company, but don’t get in the way. I adored this hotel, with its beautiful surroundings and gorgeous thermal pools, right in front of a lovely beach. The staff are wonderful, and it’s clear the owner chose really lovely people to work there. There are nice little beachfront restaurants at reasonable prices, from cheap and cheerful to a more upmarket romantic setting. This place will stay in my heart.

The pool area has really pretty views at sunset, which is a shame because everything else is pretty average. Extra charges start as soon as you arrive. To use the pool you have to buy a mandatory 2 euro hair cap. Pool towels are 3 euro each, plus 3 euro each time you change them. The safe requires a 10 euro deposit. Anything non-standard at breakfast costs extra, and so does taking a cake or croissant back to your room. The hotel sits beside a very small, busy beach with only a couple of restaurants nearby, so you’ll almost certainly be taking the bus into town each night.

My sister and I had such a good stay. The grounds are beautiful, especially the gardens, and the thermal pools with the jets were divine. The staff did everything they could to make sure we were looked after. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel.
