Forio’s centre has this lovely little gelato place. The pistachio scoop was creamy and rich, with a genuinely nice, natural pistachio taste. At just €2 for a scoop, the price was surprisingly reasonable for such a touristy area. Simple spot, good quality and great value. Definitely recommend if you’re after tasty gelato in the centre of Forio.
The cocktails are the best in Forio! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend stopping by for food and drinks 😁.
I paid 10 euros for an Aperol and a Bailey's ice cream. I knew the price beforehand, but expected more for it in both quantity and quality, especially in the land of ice cream. Service was poor and basically absent. I noticed the Italians being served, and their service seemed much friendlier.
The gelato was okay, though the service felt unfriendly. Maybe the young woman was just having a bad day, or perhaps she doesn't like foreigners. I can't say for sure.
The panini was inexpensive and really good, and the drinks were great too. We had an amazing time here, and the waiter who served us was wonderful. This is my favorite place I've been in Italy. I'll come back every time I'm in Ischia, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting. Thanks for such a great experience!
