King Suite - Luxury Rooms

The rooms are spacious and very nice, with sea views, and seem to have been refurbished recently. Getting there means going up a narrow alley, which made hauling our bags a bit difficult. The Italian woman who runs it and her daughter were very nice and quick to help, though they speak little English and aren’t nearby. We had a few issues that eventually worked themselves out. I’d suggest the owners stay closer by in the mornings and at other times.

Carmen was great to communicate with and sent clear video directions for finding the apartments. She was helpful throughout our stay. The newly refurbished place was spotless and had all the amenities we needed, just a three-minute walk from Forio Porto and the charming old town. We’d happily visit again and would definitely recommend it.

The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the cleaner, who was attentive and made sure our room was tidy every day. We had a welcoming room with a lovely harbor view. There were no balconies, and without double curtains the sunlight woke us at 6 each morning. That was inconvenient on vacation, and the only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five.

The rooms were welcoming and very clean. Reaching them was a bit of a challenge because the cobbled road is narrow and steep, but local people and Marilisa, a lovely, sweet girl who was always available, helped us manage our bags. It’s a shame there’s no porter service in Forio, especially for those of us who aren’t young anymore. We’d come from Sardinia after 24 hours of boat and ferry travel to Ischia, and arrived at rush hour.
