La Rotonda Sul Mare

Amerigo, the owner, was always friendly and helpful. La Rotonda sits right on the coast, with its own sun terrace and direct access to the sea. Forio's center, with plenty of restaurants and shops, is just a seven-minute walk away.

The sunset views were one of the best parts of our stay at Hotel Rotonda sul Mare. It's peaceful here, but Forio's center is still a short walk away, and there's private beach access with a wooden pier, loungers, and showers. The family who runs the hotel made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast was made the way we liked it each morning, and one evening we had a wonderful homemade dinner. The wife's cooking was outstanding, especially her Coniglio all'Ischitana and a classic local starter. The food was delicious, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality and overall experience. We loved the authentic feel and would highly recommend it for the hospitality, home cooking, and beautiful sunsets. It's an experience we'll remember.

The seafood was very good. We especially enjoyed the tomato and mozzarella bruschettas, and the lobster spaghetti made with the catch of the day. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients, and breakfast was very good too. The beachfront access and views are fantastic, with comfortable sunbeds and water gear like SUPs and kayaks. Shops, the bus stop, and the town center are close by. Staff and Amerigo were wonderful hosts, and we had a perfect stay in Ischia, Forio. We'd love to visit again.

Amerigo was so welcoming and ready to help. When we arrived, he asked whether it was our first time in Ischia, then marked the main sights on a map and told us a little about them. The breakfast was great, our room was nice and clean, and the beachfront was lovely. A perfect place to stay in Ischia.
