Paco Residence

The thermal heated pools were a real pleasure. The pool area is thoughtfully set up, quiet, and relaxing, with clean, warm water just as described. The sauna was unusual but a lot of fun. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the place, though the three stars are for the dated room and the missing basics. Our room was spacious enough and adequate, but old fashioned. The bed was thin but still comfortable, the shower had decent pressure, and there was good luggage storage. The kitchenette fell short of what we expected: the old gas oven and hob had no racks and needed a match or lighter, which we didn't have. There was no kettle or microwave, and nothing was supplied for free. Missing essentials included an extra toilet roll, small shampoo and shower gel, hand soap, washing up liquid, cooking oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, and matches or lighters for the cooker. The new young employee who welcomed us spoke excellent English and was very helpful while giving us space. The property is at the top of a steep, narrow road, and with all our luggage we only wanted to walk it once, so we had rental scooters delivered for our stay.
