Park Hotel Terme Mediterraneo

From the lovely setting and gorgeous views to the clean, comfortable rooms, everything about our stay on Ischia felt just right. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return. Highly recommend it.

The staff were kind and responsive throughout our stay, and they tried to sort out our requests. We appreciated the receptionists, the restaurant waiters, the restaurant manager who speaks several languages brilliantly and is very sociable, and the drivers. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels daily. The garden is huge and lovely to walk around, the pools are excellent and warm enough to swim in almost any weather, and we enjoyed the range of dinner dishes. Breakfast was fine too. Our arrival was marred by the room assignment. It was the farthest one from the main hotel, so reaching the restaurant or pool meant about a 10-minute walk along a busy road with almost no sidewalk. That was inconvenient and felt dangerous, especially in rain or after dark. After we complained, the hotel offered a free shuttle, which worked well. I think guests in remote rooms should be given a shuttle and a timetable from the start to prevent these problems. The room itself was quite dated, with worn old furniture. One side of the bathroom mirror was slightly cracked and still hadn't been replaced. There were no plastic windows either. If you book here, check the room's location carefully.

The gardens, pools, and wellness spa were superbly kept and clean, and the restaurant food and service were fabulous. Compliments to the chefs. The staff were gracious, welcoming, attentive, and helpful, and quickly dealt with any issues to our satisfaction. Our room was comfortable, though not luxurious. I got back yesterday after a lovely week at Park Hotel Terme Mediterraneo and have already recommended it to a friend. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely time here. It's a cozy, pleasant hotel, with really good restaurant food and very sweet service.
