HOTEL TERME SAN LORENZO

We come back nearly every year and always leave feeling rested. The staff at reception and around the hotel are hospitable, friendly, and helpful. We chose half board with lunch and breakfast included so we could relax without worrying about where to eat during the day. Their restaurant serves generous, tasty Southern local dishes, and the board options are reasonably priced. For a three-star place, the rooms are spacious and clean. There's a spa with a decent-sized pool looking toward scenic Mt. Epomeo, a cozy bar beside it, and a heated thermal pool near the spa. We loved the mini library too, with books in English, French, Spanish, and Italian. The location worked well for us without a car. The center of Forio is a five-minute walk, with restaurants, bars, shops, historic churches, and the main Forio port. Chiaia, a lovely public beach, is about ten minutes on foot. There's also a bus stop in front, which made exploring the rest of Ischia easy.
