Domus D'Angelo B&B

Elvira is a wonderful host, and I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B. I've stayed here several times, and the owners are consistently discreet, thoughtful, and elegant. The charming building has simple, welcoming spaces that are comfortable both in the common areas and in the rooms. The beds are comfortable and the linens impeccable. The air conditioning units heat the rooms easily, and the lovely outdoor bathroom has a tub that works well for a shower or a relaxing soak. The kitchen is fully equipped, with much more than the basics for making toast.

The whole property smells lovely, and the rooms are spotless and very carefully maintained. Check-in was easy, even though we arrived later than scheduled. Having a bar nearby for breakfast and a parking lot close by was convenient too. The bathroom is outside the room, but it didn't bother us at all. Spectacular, to say the least!

The main drawback was the stairs in this old building. They’re steep, and getting up to the third floor could be difficult if you aren’t used to them. Elvira, the owner, said there should be an elevator next year. She was always kind and helpful, which we really appreciated. The property is small, thoughtfully designed, and very clean, with an essential feel. We chose the only room with its own bathroom, which was one of the most important features for our stay. It had air conditioning, a small fridge, a shower, and a toilet, but no bidet. There’s also a larger fridge in the kitchen, though I’d label anything left in the shared one. Breakfast isn’t brought to the room, and there’s nothing in the kitchen apart from a coffee machine. You can get a croissant and a drink at the bar by the building’s exit. The choice is limited, but it covers the basics. See you next time!

The beach is about a 20-minute walk away, while shops and other amenities are just steps from this centrally located place. The room was nice, and the owner was kind and very helpful. I recommend it.
