There’s a lot of potential here, but the large garden is unusable, with the deckchairs and tables broken and left on the ground. There are also quite a few cats roaming around, which could be unpleasant or a problem for people with allergies. Inside, the rooms are a reasonable size, but the bathroom is barely usable: the shower is tiny and has only a curtain, the toilet area is cramped, the sink can’t handle all your needs, and even the broken bathroom bin forces you to reach inside to throw anything away. In a week, the sheets were changed just once. Given the pandemic at the time, I felt the property should have done more to protect guests. The door to the inner room is damaged and doesn’t feel secure, either. On the plus side, it’s very close to the center and main amenities, with the beaches about a 10-minute walk away. The staff are helpful, and private parking is on site. I’d suggest either lowering the prices or renovating, because the place could be much nicer.

Ants were everywhere, even in the bed and on me by morning, so we left right away. The room was small and falling apart, with broken furniture, a mattress that was nearly sagging, damaged mosquito screens, and a shower that didn’t work. What a shame. I also wasn’t given a receipt. The garden and parking were the one good part.

For what it costs, the room was small, dirty, and dated. The bathroom was a complete disaster. I’ve never seen one worse.

Formia is beautiful, and this place feels like a little haven right in the center. We were welcomed warmly.
