The garden, flowers, and bright blue pool made breakfast a lovely, peaceful time. The hotel itself is white and beautiful, and the staff are first-rate. Philippe is all restraint and elegance, with a slight smile and a fix for every hotel problem. I'll be back. You're wonderful.

Breakfast was excellent, with lovely service and delicious cakes. The room was comfortable, though I wish it were a little larger. The bathroom toiletries were great, and this may be the only hotel where I've also found intimate cleansing gel in the bathroom. Congratulations! Room prices do get steep in summer.

I stayed here on a work trip about 24 years ago, and I'm only getting around to writing this now. My fondest memory of the hotel is the food in Italy. Even all these years later, I still remember the stay very fondly.

The housekeeping really stands out. They take such care, from putting out extra towels and facial tissues to doing turndown service and leaving thoughtful cards to read. Service was great, and this is a stunning hotel. It's the best in FDM, in my view, and I'd only book here. A couple of things could be better: the mattress was uncomfortable and needs replacing, and tightening the balcony doors would help block a lot of the noise from the main street. I'm definitely coming back.

The sea view and the lovely atmosphere inside made for a really nice stay. Everyone was very polite, and everything else was perfect. The room furniture is a little old, though. Recommended.
