Resort Miramonti

I liked the pool area and that bicycles were free to use, but I expected better service for the price. The staff seemed extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, and we had long waits at meals. Breakfast had only a small selection. Our room was tiny and wasn’t clean when we arrived, and we could hear everything in the corridor, which was especially irritating at night when trying to sleep. When I brought this up, the owner didn’t seem to care. He seemed just as uninterested when I asked about other things.

We had a great experience and are excited to return. The owners, a husband and wife, clearly put their heart and soul into the lovely property. It’s very clean and updated, and the food, drinks and service were great. They have about 50 bikes for guests, which were essential for getting around Forte Dei Marmi the way the locals do. Prego!!

The place is lovely, with a beautiful, clean pool and a perfect location. The staff were very friendly. There is an acoustic problem, though: the rooms get noisy at night, and you can hear anyone walking along the corridor, as if you were sharing a villa.

We rode bikes to lunch and dinner, and one evening ate at the resort restaurant, Crystallo. The food there was delicious. Breakfast had lots of options, including fresh fruit juice and pastries, plus savory omelettes or scrambled eggs made to order. My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon at Resort Miramonti. Silvio, Gilda and the team were delightful, kind and helpful with transportation and making sure we had everything we needed. The resort felt charming, quiet and very relaxing. We highly recommend it. Thank you to the resort miramonti team for the hospitality!
