Fossano is right outside the door, so getting to the main sights and everyday amenities was easy. The apartment itself was bright and welcoming, with all the comforts we needed. Erika was wonderful with us and gave us all the information we needed. We’ll remember the stay fondly and hope to come back soon.

The biggest problem was the heating. The host had apparently already been told about it by previous guests, but rented the apartment anyway and only mentioned the issue the evening before we arrived. He also said it was unclear how long repairs would take. We spent two days in the cold, wearing coats, with the temperature averaging 10 degrees Celsius. Even with that major disruption, we were charged the usual daily rate as though nothing had happened. There was very little customer care. In the bathroom we got no soap, shampoo, or shower gel, just two 3-ml soap sachets for two guests staying two nights. The kitchen had no welcome items or local products, not even a croissant or toast. There were only two pillows, with no spare pillows or blankets in the closet, and the tiny living-room TV wasn’t available in the bedroom. The living room was awful. The apartment looks like the pictures, but seems to have been left in a somewhat run-down state rather than renovated. The kitchen is old, the bathroom looks like it dates from the 1950s, and there are three different floor types across just 50 square meters. The furnishings are basic and poorly kept. The hallway is the only part that appears to have been redone, with a general repainting. The poor appearance might have been easier to overlook if the amenities had been adequate. This feels like an improvised side business run just to make money. There’s no real customer service, lots of shortcomings, and none of the little touches that might help guests feel comfortable or at home, even when just passing through. I really don’t recommend it. It lacks professionalism.

We found the place clean and practical, and its location was excellent. Erika, the owner, was very kind and gave us all the details we needed for our stay.

The host was warm and helpful, and the apartment was lovely, bright, and very clean. Being right in the city center was a real plus, as was having convenient underground parking just below the apartment.
