Skilift

The ski room didn’t feel secure, with no proper lock or real place to store or dry boots. Wi-Fi was only available in the small lobby, not in the rooms, and housekeeping was very limited. We had to ask several times for basics like towels, toilet paper, and toiletries, and got only the bare minimum. There was no clear price list in the room, either. One staff member even gave us information on a sheet with other guests’ names and details printed on the back, which left me seriously concerned about how guest data is handled. Our room and the common areas looked tired and neglected, and in my view bore little resemblance to the pictures online. The bedroom was old and poorly decorated, and the supposed double bed was two single mattresses on uneven, noisy slats. We slept terribly. A damaged toilet seat hadn’t been fixed, and sound carried straight through from other rooms and the corridor. I stayed at Hotel Skilift over New Year 2025/26, and it was honestly one of the worst so-called 3-star hotel stays I’ve had in Italy. I first contacted Hotel Miramonti in Frabosa Soprana and was told it was full, but that rooms were available at “our other business”, Hotel Skilift. Both were presented online as 3-star properties, and the same official CIN code appeared on both websites when I booked. Based on that, I expected something roughly comparable to Miramonti and run to a similar standard. Afterward, I emailed the hotel in detail to explain why I felt misled and request a partial refund and clarification about its classification and CIN. Nobody replied, not even to acknowledge the message. That says a lot to me about the value they place on feedback and basic customer care. I left with a strong impression that Hotel Skilift trades on its connection to Miramonti and the 3-star label while providing a poorly managed stay that falls well short of what a reasonable guest might expect at this category and price. I wouldn’t stay again and can’t recommend it.
