BB Theodora

The owner was so kind and helpful, and the room was both clean and spacious. I stayed at Theodora for three nights with my 10-year-old son. It’s conveniently placed for walking to the city center or the train station. I’d definitely choose it again if we return to Frascati, and highly recommend it.

The little kitchen was a nice surprise, with everything needed for cooking and eating. Our room was spacious and very clean, with lovely scented sheets and a really soft bed. I stayed for 2 nights, and Mr. and Mrs. Massimo were genuinely kind. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Frascati. Thank you.

Massimo, the manager, made our stay memorable. He noticed in our documents that there would be a double birthday while we were there, and surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco so we could celebrate in style. The place has such a lovely atmosphere, like stepping back in time, and you feel pampered as soon as you arrive. The furnishings are thoughtfully chosen, the room is spacious with a breathtaking view, and the B&B is right in the city center, steps from the train station to the center of Rome and the buses linking the Castelli Romani villages. I came for a short vacation and couldn’t have picked better. If there were another star, B&B Theodora would deserve it. I highly recommend it, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

The apartment is in an old building, with three rooms. Ours was Ambra, with its own bathroom and air conditioning, though I assume the other rooms have those too. It had a big window over the tree-lined square and antique furniture beneath decorated ceilings. Guests can also use a fully equipped kitchen, so you can make dinner if you like. We went looking for the classic "frasca" (a typical Italian bar), but couldn’t find one. Maybe they only open during the day, maybe we didn’t look carefully, or maybe things have changed over time. There were all sorts of places within walking distance, though, and we had a wonderful dinner at one recommended by the distinguished owner, with a view of distant Rome at night and a cool breeze. Thanks to an arrangement that lets B&B guests enter the limited traffic zones, we parked right in front of the building. Breakfast was at the partner bar, Fermate 'n attimo, where the homemade brioches were excellent. I couldn’t have asked for better, and the price was more than fair.
