Villa Tuscolana

We paid about $350 for one night in October 2025, in room 403, an executive suite. The villa is beautiful and huge, a bit like a French chateau, with great city views. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The water pressure was terrible, and the hot water was barely warm. Filling the bathtub would have taken hours. Wi-Fi was awful and didn't reach the bed, so we had to sit in a corner for a signal. We had no T-Mobile cell service, and without Wi-Fi the evening kind of sucked. The place just needs a little maintenance to be great. If the water or Wi-Fi had been good, I probably wouldn't have bothered writing a bad review. Avoid room 403 and you'll probably be fine.

The valley views from this beautiful old villa on the outskirts of Rome were amazing. We only stayed one night, so there wasn't much time to enjoy the place or its amenities. Our group had 80 people, and getting to the second and third floors took forever. The elevators stopped working, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. 😫

With the special price we booked, the hotel offered good value. Breakfast had lots of choice and was very good. The hotel sits on a hill overlooking Frascati, with wonderful rooms and pieces of history. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though they could use an update. Highly recommended at a discounted price.

The peaceful setting puts you in the middle of nature, away from the city. At night you can hear lots of nocturnal birds and see bats flying. Since it's on a hilltop, the view is magnificent, and on a clear day you can see Rome. The hotel is in a 16th century palace, with spacious rooms and antique furniture. Mine was about 4 meters high, so it really felt like living in a palace. The staff were awesome too. Without a car, you'll need a taxi to get there, or you can call them as I did and they'll pick you up from Frascati. One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to.
