The hosts were brilliant, and the place itself was stunning. There’s a lovely local restaurant nearby, along with mountains and plenty of history. Just two minutes from the highway. You should go!

After a good mountain outing, you can sleep and eat here. There are various options for excursions, and Angelo and Rafaela can offer information and advice.

Whether you’re coming from the North before catching the ferry to Sicily, or heading north after a long crossing from the South, Frascineto makes a convenient stop. Even so, it stays with you. B&B Il Vicoletto feels like a family place, cared for down to the details, and the owners are thoughtful and kind even when guests are in a hurry. There’s parking on site, too. It’s a simple, comfortable little haven in an area shaped by Italian-Albanian culture. Credit to the people who put so much love into welcoming visitors here.

The room was clean, and the welcome and hospitality were excellent. If I had to pick out small faults, the TV was hard to see and the coffee machine wouldn’t switch on. Even so, I recommend the B&B.
