Alma’s homemade cakes and jams were a breakfast highlight, and there’s a secure place to store your bike. The B&B sits right on the village square, its flower-covered front hard to miss. Our room was comfortable, the bed made for a good night’s sleep, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast feels like a family gathering with Alberto, Alma, and the other guests. If the conversation gets going, you may leave in an even better mood. There’s also Chimi just a few steps away, with excellent food that’s almost gourmet. Spend some time chatting with Alberto and Alma. They’ll stay with you in your memories of Frassino.

We found this B&B by chance on a motorcycle trip with friends in July and stayed for one night. It turned out to be a great stop. After the first bit of disorientation, Barba Bertu’s lively personality became one of the trip’s fondest memories. Breakfast deserves praise too.

We felt right at home, and if we pass through again, this will be our first choice. The long conversations with Bertu and Alma were a pleasure, a bit like visiting our grandparents. They make everything themselves, and breakfast was generous and full of good, genuine food. Despite the location and the cold, Bertu welcomed us like family, and the room was warm and inviting. We had a very good stay here. The house is clean and well cared for, breakfast includes good local products, and there’s garage parking for motorcycles. The owners are welcoming, genuine people with a character all their own. Dominique and Adolfina 😉

The breakfasts and the place itself were both excellent. Barba Bertu is quite a character, while Alma is angelic. They made us feel surrounded by family warmth and affection, and their tips helped us find lovely places to visit and enjoy the local food.
