There’s no laundry service, but a pharmacy is just a few feet away, and coffee shops, pizza places, and a Catholic Church are within walking distance. Downtown Frosinone isn’t walkable, though the hotel is literally right off the highway. The food was good. Nothing fancy, but it’s clean, affordable, and safe. The bed was comfy, the balcony had a view, and the elevator helped with heavy bags. Bring a travel adapter for your phone and digital camera.

The rooms are great, though breakfast could be better.

It seemed like they reopened in a rush and overlooked a few things. The TV has a thousand channels, but they’re all in Italian, with no foreign-language subtitles or even one channel for guests who don’t speak Italian. Reception doesn’t seem to care that visitors might come from Germany or England. You’re supposed to call reception on 9, but that only works if the phone is connected. Good luck with that poor service.

I got in at 11:30 pm, and the kitchen still made me a pizza. That was amazing of them, and the pizza itself was amazing too. Everything you need for a good night’s sleep.
