The location in the hills is superb and very quiet, with a lovely garden among the vineyards. It’s a 14th-century villa, and each room or flat has its own kitchen and espresso machine. They leave supplies for your first morning, including coffee capsules, milk and some baked goods, and provide pool towels. There’s also parking with an EV charger. Services are limited: check-in and reception are only available in the afternoon, from 15:00 to 19:00, and there’s no daily towel change or housekeeping. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s why I’d rate it 3/5 as a hotel. If you want a stay in the countryside around Verona, this is a great spot.

There’s a bakery, restaurants, bars and a bank in the village, which makes things convenient. Back at the property, the pool is large and the garden has shady spots for when the sun gets strong. It’s a quiet place with a lovely owner, and a great choice for a family holiday. We’ll certainly return!
