Apartments Pension Sonia

The owners were so kind, and the views were incredible. Everything felt cozy, and they helped us find things to do. We hadn’t planned to ski, but nearby we were able to ski, snowboard, and sled for super cheap. There’s also a grocery store and a nice restaurant close by. A mama cat and her kitten live near the hotel too! They even let us check out late after we decided at the last minute to go sledding. We just handed over the key on our way out, easy and stress free. The breakfast was wonderful too. Grazie millie!! 🧡🧡💛💛

We walked to Geisler Alm, then took the Adolf Munkel Weg trail back to the accommodation. There are plenty of walks and hikes around, and the setting is peaceful and scenic. The famous Church of Saint John (San Giovanni) is just down the road. Shops and restaurants are limited to a few nearby options, but the surroundings make up for that. Our room was traditional in its décor and furnishings, but the host gave us a phenomenal mountain view. Everything was clean and tidy, the host was lovely and welcoming, and the breakfast spread was the best we had on our trip. There was ample free parking right outside the apartments, which saved us a fortune on parking for nearby walks. We stayed at Pension Sonia during our Dolomites trip and had a wonderful time.

The breakfast spread was the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our 15 day journey. We were also given a corner room with a lovely mountain view, which let us drive to a spot for photos whenever the sky cleared at sunrise or sunset. We came from Singapore to see the beautiful Dolomiti, and Pension Sonia was an excellent base for visiting the west side. The host was very friendly, and this was one of the best hotels of our trip, even better than some 4 stars hotels. Thank you, Mr & Mrs Heinze, for a wonderful 3 days stay.

The host was the friendliest person we’ve ever met, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, hard to beat. Such a stunning place to stay.
