Hotel Venus

We enjoyed our two-week stay last year so much that we booked three weeks this year. The management has changed since then, but we’re still very pleased with the hotel’s quality and service. It’s one of the best hotels in Italy’s Marche Region, in my view. There’s a large, very clean private beach just a few steps away, with a lifeguard, showers, toilets, and changing rooms. Shuttle rides in electric cars are available to and from the beach for older or disabled guests. The hotel has a huge pool, a children’s pool, a whirlpool, and a nice fitness corner in the pool area, all available to guests. Breakfast is continental, with great coffee from the hotel bar, and can be served indoors or on the pleasant terrace overlooking the sea. The main restaurant serves lunch and dinner on half-board or full-board plans, with a good wine list and excellent Italian cooking. Thanks to the hotel cook! Guests can also use hotel bicycles for free, or rent a branded electric bike for a reasonable half-day or full-day price. During the coronavirus world crisis, the hotel, restaurant, and beach had all the necessary hygiene and sanitation measures in place to protect customers and staff. We’re having a wonderful vacation. Special thanks to Michele Forlani, our star at the hotel, who helps every guest with any issue and always remembers to ask what we need. Marina at reception was also a great help. She was the only German-speaking staff member we met. We don’t speak Italian, but English is enough to communicate at the hotel. Marina helped us extend our stay by one extra day after Lufthansa canceled the Saturday flight. In the restaurant, Francesca and Debora continually look after guests and are always friendly and helpful. The whole team makes a hotel stay feel like an event, not just a standard vacation. I can certainly recommend this 4☆ hotel for a lovely Italian holiday.

It’s a nice family hotel almost on the beach, with a swimming pool, playgrounds, and good food. It isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. The stairs down to the beach are steep, so it’s not suitable for elderly people.

Great spot, clean, with nice people and good food. A little more English and it’d be perfecto!
