I have great memories of Gaeta, Italy and staying at Hotel Flamingo. The food was to die for, and the poolside and service were sublime.

I was so glad to find gluten-free pizza without having to go from restaurant to restaurant asking. The pizza and wine were really good and filling. The person with celiac disease in my group enjoyed it too and had no reaction.

My dad, James or Jim, was stationed in Gaeta with the US Navy from 1988 through 1992, and our family stayed at Hotel Flamingo many years ago. We loved going there to stay overnight, but also visited daily to relax and unwind with friends. We grew close to the Reale Family, whom we love and miss so much. They’re wonderful, beautiful people, and made us feel so welcome in their beautiful country of Italia. I pretty much grew up at Hotel Flamingo, and wouldn’t have wanted to grow up anywhere else. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA now, and so wish I could return to Gaeta, Italia, which I call home. Thank you to everyone!
