The location made it easy to walk everywhere in about five minutes, with live music, bars, restaurants, and activities just a block away. Somehow the street itself was still quiet and calm. Marina and Mario, the proprietors, were charming, responsive, reliable hosts. They suggested local restaurants and walks, and Marina even helped us book a little boat tour to see the sights from the water and swim at otherwise inaccessible beaches. Breakfast was incredible, with fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, plenty of drink choices, and homemade cappuccinos that kept coming. The rooms are small and clean, and the shared bathroom kept the cost down. We never had to wait, and the place felt so homey. Velia B&B is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Italy. What an amazing experience, book your trip here!

Great location for the price, and the breakfast was good. It’s best if someone in your group speaks Italian, as communicating in English can be hard.

Mario and Marina, the owners, were kind and discreet, and always ready with advice for our Gaeta holiday. They made it unforgettable. The location is wonderful, just steps from the seafront promenade and Serapo beach. Breakfast was plentiful in the common room, which also had magazines, books, a TV, and several area guides. The B&B was perhaps the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. From the pleasant smell when you walk in to the fresh feeling in the air, it was clear how regularly it’s cleaned. Every detail seemed thought through: new furniture, a very comfortable mattress, perfectly ironed sheets, a proper hairdryer, extra toilet rolls without having to ask, new clotheslines and clothespins, two pillows, one high and one low, plus another in the closet, and super-soft towels. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was SUPER-FAST. I even ran a speed test to see how fast. Highly recommend!

This was another stay at the B&B for me, this time for a week, and it felt like home. Marina’s hospitality is the highlight. Mario and his son were also so helpful, such a lovely family. The rooms were clean, breakfast was plentiful, and thank you for everything. Serena and Valentina.

The room was exceptionally clean, and we loved the breakfast. The location was great too, with easy access to both medieval Gaeta and Serapo Beach. We had a short stay with Mrs. Marina and Mr. Mario, and we’ll definitely return. Highly recommended.
