Motel Ranch

The motel itself was fairly clean, but there was a stain on the bed. Given the mirror on the ceiling, that didn’t exactly come as a surprise. There was a working girl sitting outside when I arrived, which gave me a bad vibe to start with. It was late and I needed sleep, so I stayed anyway. Probably great if you’re after some lovin, but otherwise I’d only stay here if there were no other options.

Really good.

Great.

I’ve been a customer for years, but lately there have been problems. Once, they said there was no water and told me to wash with a bottle of water, while still charging full price. Another time, I booked the suite with a whirlpool tub, then got a call two hours later saying I had to leave because another customer was arriving. I paid full price for that visit too. About a month ago, I went to pay at the cashier and was told I’d stayed beyond the hours. The deal had changed from 6 hours for 40 euros to 5 hours for 40 euros, so I had to pay 60 euros, including 20 euros for an extra hour. Since I’ve been coming for years, they could have told me about the change, or put a price list somewhere obvious instead of springing it on me afterward. I found the place lacking in professionalism and clarity, and I probably won’t return. For 60 euros, I’ve found motels that are much nicer, cleaner, and more functional. Not recommended.
