We had a lovely stay. The apartments are beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable. I liked the modern decor in the traditional house, especially with the rooftop terrace for breakfast. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. I’d love to come back one day.

We found this quirky, charming little hideaway while walking the Puglia coast. Just right for a couple of days, and easy to get to.

I’m responding to the B&B’s replies to my earlier review today. (1) They say the Wi-Fi has excellent coverage, though the connection may slow down for a few hours, and that this isn’t their fault. That isn’t correct. I’ve been here from around 3 PM until 10 PM, and for all seven hours the Wi-Fi has been literally nonexistent on both of your networks, across all three of our phones. We’ve had to use our mobile data instead. I’m trying to upload a screenshot for reference. (2) They say the floor was cleaned as usual and suggest that, after trekking in the countryside all day, we must have brought dust into the room. There’s a difference between a dusty floor that hasn’t been mopped and mud spread around by dirty shoes. My shoes are new, and I carefully cleaned them at the doormat. I’m trying to upload a screenshot for reference. (3) They say they themselves weren’t warned about mosquitoes and promise to find out when they’ll return to the area. I’m surprised by how dismissively they’ve answered legitimate concerns. If, in their own words, they hadn’t been warned about mosquitoes in this area, why was there mosquito repellent in the room? My companion told me about it after receiving your WhatsApp message this evening. Thanks for that anyway. (4) They say they’d be happy to welcome me back if I came with different intentions. I personally wouldn’t want to visit again, especially if I’m looking for a comfortable stay or a host who takes genuine guest feedback seriously. The problems were brushed aside as if nothing was wrong.

The rooms are lovely, the host is friendly, and the town is enjoyable.
