It’s peaceful and quiet, with a nice atmosphere and helpful host. Good service, and you can buy good wine here. The road up to the farm is bumpy.

The setting is beautiful and the room was clean, though it could use some improvement. The winery’s listed hours were wrong: I booked a weekend room so I could buy wine there, but the place was closed.

We arrived in the evening to a renovated ruin, with countless lights decorating the huge garden. It was enchanting. There’s a fantastic pool, though the temperature wasn’t good enough for us to use it. The rooms are more like mini-apartments, with everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom.

We only stayed one night, which was the downside, and we’ll be back. The farmhouse is spectacular, tucked among vineyards, with complete peace, quiet and charm. The winery visit was exceptional, Manuel gave excellent explanations, and the wines were fantastic.

The views are breathtaking, and the apartments are spacious and fully furnished. Set among greenery, oak and olive trees and Sangiovese vines, the place is stunning. It’s far enough from the main roads to be exceptionally peaceful and quiet.
