We had a lovely time here. The hosts were kind and thoughtful, and helped whenever we needed anything. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The garden has a gorgeous Tuscan look, and they arranged a varied, delicious dinner for us. A fridge in the room would have been useful, though there was a small one in the shared area.

The views from all around the property are the kind that make you stop and stare. There’s a lovely home restaurant just steps away, with a sunset set menu that could stay with you for years. They also offer a cooking class. I didn’t leave myself enough time for it, so don’t make my mistake. I’m torn about sharing this place because keeping it secret would be tempting, but the owners have made such a wonderful Tuscan retreat that they deserve the support. For a first visit to Chianti, this was exactly the picture I’d had in mind, with vineyards and rolling hills all around. The old stone building has been updated inside, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is roomy and modern, with a good shower instead of one of those cramped phone-booth setups. There are places to sit around the property, and our room had its own balcony. The AC actually works and is quiet. And the pool looks odd in some of the photos, but they don’t do it justice. It’s fabulous. Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and breakfast gets five thumbs up.

You’re surrounded by beautiful restaurants, and it’s an easy drive to the major wineries in the region. The location is fantastic, right in Tuscany’s Chianti wine country, with lovely views. The family makes its own wine, the pool is refreshing, and breakfast was delicious. Our host also helped us plan activities and steer us toward the right places. The rooms, style, and atmosphere were all lovely. The property is beautiful, and the photos really don’t capture it.

The morning view from the window is breathtaking, and the eco pool has vineyards all around it. We loved the outside area too, especially the separate kitchen guests can use for cooking. Inside, the rooms are beautiful, with colorful decor and a nice mix of old and new furniture and paintings. The host was warm, professional, and so friendly that we felt at home within minutes. And breakfast was delicious. I’m so glad we found this place.
