Ego Salento

We stayed as a couple for five nights, booked through Booking.com, and were sad to leave. From the welcome drink and warm, personal greeting on arrival to the thoughtful service throughout, the owners made us feel free to enjoy ourselves while also taking care of us. They even tried to provide the breakfast we wanted during the Covid situation. The room and bathroom had lovely luxury touches, although the room was a bit small and short on storage. The large pool had music playing during the day, which wasn’t for me, though I can see that some people would like it. The magnificent garden, wonderful staff, and private parking inside the property were all highlights. Stella, Jennifer, and Stefano felt like family during this five-star, high-class stay. In my opinion, they deserve a much higher rating on Booking and Google.

The staff were lovely, and it worked well as a base for exploring other places. Just be aware there’s no evening food, and pool parties can mean loud music after midnight.

Jennifer and the whole team made us feel so welcome, especially Christian. They were kind, attentive, and always smiling throughout our stay. The place itself is beautiful and so well cared for, with a great breakfast and bar and restaurant service that covered every request. It’s tucked away, but still about equally convenient for the main sights around Salento. For us, it was all relaxation and peace in a little corner of paradise. Huge thanks to everyone. We came for three days and found the whole place spotless and beautifully looked after. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very nice, and the restaurant food was excellent. The welcome was great, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. A relaxing little oasis in the heart of Salento. Highly recommended!
