terra e mare

Davide was so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. We had a wonderful stay in a house that had everything we needed and then some. The terrace upstairs was a dream. We'll definitely come back.

With our seven-month-old baby, we eventually had to leave four days early because staying there had become impossible. At the start, we found greasy, dirty dishes, hair blocking the shower drain, a badly sagging mattress, and glass jars still under the sink, probably left by earlier guests. We raised these problems with the owner and asked what could be done about the mattress. The response was that we could leave if we didn't like it. To get at least some sleep, they bought foam to put over the mattress. We ended up finding that solution ourselves, since nobody had suggested replacing it.

I also want to mention that the linen was never changed, which is a basic part of any rental. Giuseppe Migali, the situation wasn't as you described, and the facts back up what you called our "whims." Before writing or speaking about it, I had tried to reach both the owner and customer support. I was told to leave, and nobody was willing to sort out even the basic cleaning problems.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we got a warm welcome.
