The price is reasonable, and you even get a grand piano in the salon if that's your instrument. We found this beautiful, comfortable, quiet place a perfect way to stay in a nineteenth century palace without taking on the upkeep costs. Breakfast was the best we had in puglia, though admittedly our sample was only 5. The hosts were kind, knew the region well, and were always happy to help. Galatano itself isn't the region's prettiest town, to nitpick, but incredible places are only a few kilometres away. You'll need a car.

The apartment had everything we needed, and it was spacious, comfortable, and cool. The nearest supermarket and the town's main shops were just a few minutes away on foot. The location is very strategic, with the area's most beautiful beaches reachable in 20-30 minutes. The owner welcomed us warmly and was very kind. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back ❤️

It was hard to leave this palace, but we'll come back! I grew up in Salento and returned as a tourist this year, which is how I discovered this enchanting place. Our six days there were quiet and comfortable, and the palace was immaculate. The owners are special people, with a mix of professionalism and kindness we'll remember. They even helped with our needs by offering a dog-sitting service. It's pet-friendly, full of beauty, value, and stories, and the welcome was warm. The palace won us over, and it was excellent value.
