Senza Pensieri

We stayed for 6 nights as two couples from Treviso, and the apartment exceeded our expectations. Luigi was available from the time we booked and handled all the details of our arrival. When we got there, the owner welcomed us personally and gave us tips for our stay. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean, well maintained, and equipped with all the essentials. It has good air conditioning, a washing machine, an iron, and a large balcony. It's suitable for a group of 6 and ideal for families. Galatone is a quiet village near Gallipoli, with friendly, helpful residents. Bars, restaurants, a supermarket, and other main amenities are close by.

The studio is just a few kilometers by car from both the sea and the city center. Inside, it feels modern and is furnished beautifully, with everything well equipped. The induction hob is simple to use, and the Murphy bed is both lovely and really comfortable. The staff were so friendly and ready to help with anything. We’ll definitely come back.

The owner was attentive and helpful, and the home is a handy base for visiting Salento’s many attractions. There are supermarkets, bars, a tobacconist and other shops close by. The apartment has two bedrooms, a shower bathroom and a big living room with a comfortable sofa, table, chairs and TV; the kitchenette sits off to one side of the living room. It’s on the first floor, with no wheelchair access, though the staircase is wide and comfortable. One suggestion: add air conditioning to the second bedroom, since the other bedroom and living room already have it.

Getting to Gallipoli and plenty of other lovely seaside spots from Galatone is easy. The apartment itself is spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. There’s also lots nearby, including a bar, restaurant and pizzeria, deli, greengrocer, supermarket and Chinese restaurant.
