We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was spotless, with big, spacious rooms and a nice balcony, and the staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was excellent too. It’s right on the main street, with a couple of bars and restaurants nearby. My husband and I stopped here while walking the Lucca to Siena Camino.

The restaurant downstairs was fantastic. We had salad, a cheese plate, sautéed vegetables, and homemade bread, and ate really well. The people here are extremely nice. Our room was large, with a big bathroom, a comfortable bed, a wonderful hot shower, and a great hairdryer, which really does make a difference. We stayed for one night while walking the Via Francigena.

I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s my favorite stop on the Via Francigena. Carmine and the people in this town are incredibly warm, friendly, and loving. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. I highly recommend staying here, and I’ll always choose it when I’m in Italy.

We found Hotel Belvedere while hiking the Via Francigena, and it turned out to be a great find. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the staff very friendly. Breakfast had great pastries, eggs, coffee, and more.
