After finally finding a shop a 20-minute walk away, we had still spent more than four hours waiting outside in 30-degree heat, with nowhere nearby to buy a drink or do anything. The place also wasn’t close to the ocean, and the sea view they advertise was from far away. We’d booked through the Booking app, arrived, and found nobody there to let us in. We tried calling, messaging, and emailing, then contacted Booking after waiting 40 minutes. They managed to speak to the property, whose staff claimed they were there and hadn’t seen us. That was a complete lie; there was nobody. It felt like a scam to get people’s money. Since the property said they were present, Booking wouldn’t refund us, and as students we couldn’t afford to lose the money. We wasted the day waiting for a reply that never came, then had to go somewhere else. The location was poor too, with no nearby shops.

Our reservation was already paid in full, but when we arrived nobody was there to help us, and we had no way to contact them. It felt like a complete scam. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The room was tiny for four, and there were only two outlets: one by the fridge, which we had to unplug, and one in the bathroom. Payment was a headache because their links didn't work with either of the two cards we tried. A woman even asked for our card details over the phone to help us pay. They also asked if I would cancel the Booking.com reservation in return for a discount. I said no, but they cancelled it anyway and gave no discount. That left me unable to post a review, and seeing no negative reviews makes me wonder if this happens to everyone. Very disappointing.

The common room is roomy, but it isn't set up for making breakfast. There's a microwave, but no electric hotplate or coffee maker, and the nearest café is a 10-minute walk away. Recycling bins on the shared terrace weren't labeled, and each had a mixture of items. During our two-day stay, cleaning staff didn't remove the dirty dishes some guests had left in the aquarium. Our room itself was spacious and clean, with new, attractive furnishings, a mini-fridge, working air conditioning, and a bathroom with a window. The mattress was excellent and the balcony comfortable. It would have helped to have bedside lights, a toilet brush, and a spare roll of toilet paper.
