Appartamento a Gallipoli

The apartment is roomy, in a clean and quiet building with considerate neighbors, and there’s an elevator. It’s also well placed: the rocky beach is just a few steps away, a supermarket is about 100 meters away, and the historic center takes around twenty minutes on foot. The host struck me as rude at first, but later proved understanding and let us keep our bikes in a garage at no extra charge. There were some problems, though. The gas ran out, and since we hadn’t cooked for two days, we had to refill the cylinder ourselves. The sofa bed was broken and difficult to fold back up at the end of the holiday. Water also leaked from the second bathroom and flooded into the bedrooms. Wi-Fi, even as a paid extra, and a decent TV would improve the place. Gallipoli is such a lively city for young people that having fun matters more than inspecting every detail of the apartment.
