We felt like welcome guests, not customers. The Maurizio family created such a friendly atmosphere and made everything feel done with love. They cooked us an incredible multi-course dinner from local products, with wine. Hard to praise it enough. Many thanks to Maurizio, Cristina, and the whole family. Best wishes from Norway, John &Roza. The villa has everything for a lovely holiday: fresh pastries at breakfast, a great pool, beautiful garden, exercise equipment, parking, a table tennis table, and a garden kitchen we used when needed. Our clean, pretty room had a small private terrace overlooking the garden, plus a spacious wardrobe, TV, fridge, hairdryer, iron, toilet, shower, and bidet. Zeus beach nearby is wonderful, and it’s better to drive there since there’s a large car park. The city is quite close too, pleasant, cozy, and pretty. We’d gladly come back. The hosts are just lovely and hospitable.

The city center is quite far away, so you need a car to get there. Maurizio kindly drove us in, but finding a taxi for the return was an adventure. Our room was clean and pleasant, with a patio, and the pool was wonderful. The air conditioning worked well, and breakfast was excellent, with home-baked food.

Christina and Maurizio, along with their whole family, looked after their guests so warmly. I had a fantastic 12-day holiday at Villa Christina and felt very comfortable there. The villa’s rooms are well kept, and the lovely pool sits in a magnificent garden that’s perfect for relaxing. Each day started with a varied, fresh, delicious breakfast. Christina’s baked goods were wonderful. Maurizio knows a great deal and shared interesting tips for excursions and activities. He also speaks excellent German after studying in Germany. The location works well for visiting Gallipoli, the beautiful beaches, and other parts of Salento. I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Christina. Many thanks for a wonderful time in Puglia. I know there are lots of positive reviews, but my stay was so bad I left after one night. The room was very cold, dusty, and the air conditioning didn’t work. My allergies got really bad. There was hardly any water, so taking a shower would have taken two hours and I couldn’t do it. Mr. Maurizio seemed very nice, but after a cold night we left as soon as we woke up. With these problems, saving money and having a better weekend would have been ideal.
