B&B Medusa

The location was excellent, close to both the seafront and beach, and the owner said we could use the small coffee machine in the B&B entrance hall, though breakfast wasn't included. Our room was tidy and reasonably clean during our three-day stay. There were a couple of issues: the owner had confirmed the mini fridge worked, but it didn't cool at all. After three days, our two bottles of water were warmer than when we put them in. Booking.com also described the room as having a “sea view,” though the sea was barely visible through the trees, as the photo shows. We couldn't find the advertised free parking and spent over 20 minutes looking for a space near the apartment. Private parking was available for €10 per day. Those were the only points I thought were fair to criticize.

Mary was very kind and courteous, and she and her staff shared lots of useful information. We stayed in the Ares room, which is small but cozy and clean. It has a little veranda with chairs, an umbrella, and a small clothesline. You can hear noise from the other rooms, which was the one downside. The free beach is about five minutes away, with several restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

We were lucky enough to park on the street right below the house, then could leave the car there and get around on foot. The beaches are only two minutes away, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. We spent the weekend in a very nice, clean room with a private balcony, table and chairs, awning, balcony light, and a handy wall-mounted drying rack. It also had an en-suite bathroom, a built-in wardrobe, TV, air conditioning, and a mini fridge, though the fridge didn't cool very well. Bed and bathroom linens were provided. Highly recommended!

There were four of us, two adults and two children, squeezed into a small double room. There was nowhere to hang our clothes, and the two bunk beds had no safety guards. The room was extremely dirty and not suitable. They advertised a small breakfast as included with a misleading photo, then brought coffee and biscuits that even my dog wouldn't have wanted. She asked for cash for both the stay and tourist tax, which she pocketed.
