Being able to head out in the evening without taking the car was the best part of the location. The rooms were renovated some years ago and now need a bit of upkeep, and there was an unpleasant musty smell. We booked the B&B with breakfast, but they gave us vouchers for a bar without telling us in advance. Our suite had a kitchen area, though the dishes we left there were still sitting there that evening. For what we paid, I think we could have found an apartment for half the price.

We stayed nearly a week and felt at home thanks to how friendly and easy to approach the owners were. The place is quiet, but only a few steps from the shopping street, and both the cleanliness and breakfast were great. Breakfast came in generous portions with plenty of sweet and savory choices. If we come back to Salento, we'd happily consider staying here again. Thanks, Danilo and Carla!

The bed was really comfortable, and parking nearby was easy. The room had what we needed for a few days, and the hosts made us feel right at home. It's also an easy walk into the center. A great choice, we'd definitely recommend it.

The last day here was hard, I really didn't want to leave. Carla and Danilo are lovely, cheerful people who pay attention to even the smallest requests and make their passion for the place clear. They also care about guests' four-legged friends. Even if you aren't a dog person, the place is so well run that there's no mess or chaos, just spotless rooms, a tidy, quiet atmosphere, and a real sense of peace. The rooms are beautiful, roomy, and comfortable, with a bathroom and a small courtyard. I don't think every room is the same, so check which type you're booking. There's air conditioning, hot water even in the courtyard, a big closet, fridge, hangers, TV, kettle, towels and bathrobes. For people travelling with dogs, they can provide kennels, bowls and treats, plus a list of beaches where dogs are welcome. Breakfast was a highlight I'll remember. Danilo brought fresh sweets each morning from one of Gallipoli's best pastry shops and made coffee, tea, cappuccino or juice to go with them. The pasticciotti were so good. They also have arrangements with beaches, shuttles like taxis, restaurants and more. The location worked really well for me, close to the center and the sea, with good connections. I love this B&B. I almost kept quiet about it because I wanted to save my room for my next holiday, but Carla and Danilo deserve the kind words. It felt like home, with such positive energy. I recommend it, you'll be impressed too.
