I loved the original feel of the palazzo and everything about my stay. The location is perfect, with plenty of good restaurants, bistros, and other nice places nearby. Chiara and elezabeth, the staff were amazing, friendly, and always ready to help. Thanks for making my stay so lovely. I'd definitely recommend it, and hope to see you soon, Gallipoli :)

The family who own the villa still run it, and they were lovely. Our huge room was very clean, with a private bathroom down the hall, and it opened onto a terrace. The converted villa is beautiful, with stunning rooms and gorgeous shared spaces, including a ballroom. Breakfast was delicious and simple: fresh bakery pasticciotto, fruit, and coffee. It's right in the center of old town Gallipoli. We loved our stay and would be back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

After spending a fortnight at Insula, I think it'll be hard to adjust to anywhere else. The hosts were caring, and breakfast was unlimited, with cereal, eggs made to order, fruit, breads, cheeses, and drinks. The heritage residence is charming and well maintained, with lots of interesting shared lobbies and terraces. My room was enormous for a BNB, with 40' ceilings, loads of space and storage, and a private bathroom a short distance away. It's on the main street in Old Gallipoli, near the beautiful cathedral and cafes. Be ready for the bells! I'd return if I'm in the area again. A little taste of the luxury of Old Italy.
