B&B Palazzo Vallebona

We loved spending time in Galipoli, especially at the beach in the old city, where you can swim, have a drink, and take in the historic sights. The town has plenty of life and is well worth a stop. The apartment itself is part of the experience. It’s in a tower with two bedrooms, and the rooftop terrace, around the sixth or seventh floor, has an incredible view. The building has been in Giuseppe’s family for generations, and old photos in the halls tell some of its story. Breakfast was very good, the people were friendly, and Giuseppe welcomed us. The price felt very reasonable for the quality. It’s also perfectly placed, with easy, free parking nearby.

The rooms are beautiful, and breakfast was very good. Antonio and his family were wonderful hosts. The location is nice too, not far from the historic center.

We ended up leaving two nights early because the loud, unpleasant music from the lounge club directly below the property made sleep impossible. Other guests were complaining as well. We asked the host for help; he arranged a time to meet us but didn't turn up. The host acknowledged the situation was unacceptable and promised in writing to refund us. We stayed in April, and by July 17 we still hadn't received anything, despite months of follow-up. We got excuses and contradictory replies, then insults. Cleaning staff also shouted along the hall in the morning, slammed doors, and tried to come into our room while we were asleep. There was nobody on site to help. Everything is handled remotely, and when something goes wrong, you’re left to deal with it alone. What should have been a relaxing trip became one of our worst travel experiences. We strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Breakfast is included, with coffee, fresh fruit, baked goods, and cheeses. The service was impeccable, and a service elevator took our luggage up to the top floor. Giuseppe greeted us himself when we arrived. The rooms are spacious.
