Case Vacanze Lido San Giovanni

I stayed at the Alba Lido apartment at Via Dante 13, not on Via Savonarola, at Shs del Mr. Raeli. I'm mentioning that because I can't reply to the owners. I'd also suggest they stop writing their own reviews, it's completely unprofessional. A review for Gallipoli on Boat by someone named Raeli showed up by chance, and that happens to be the owner's surname 🤔 As for our stay, I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. The house was handed over in appalling shape, and it seemed like it may not have been cleaned all summer. There was sand and pubic hair everywhere, cigarette butts and pasta residue under the kitchen counter, and ants all over, even coming out of the stovetop. The guy doing check-in arrived late with the bag of laundry we'd asked for. He barely showed us the entrance before rushing off because he had to go to the beach and didn't have time to waste. We only got checkout instructions the night before we left, at 1:00 AM. We'll come back to Salento, but we'll stay well away from this kind of agency.

Benedetta and Davide are cheerful and clearly love what they do. They were always so helpful, and the welcome was unlike anything I've come across while traveling. I used their agency for my holiday, and the place was spotlessly clean.

I definitely plan to return to Salento, but I'll book through a different agency. The apartment was incredibly dirty, and the gentleman who welcomed us wasn't any better. I can't reply to the owner, so I want to make clear that I did use this agency: I booked through this phone number. And please don't write your own reviews.

The owner was kind and nice, and the place was beautiful. The cleanliness was top-notch.
