Excellent Rooms

The panoramic veranda was a lovely place to have breakfast, with a sea view and a varied spread made by signora Annamaria using fresh, quality ingredients. She was always smiling, attentive, and happy to help with guests’ needs. Gianmarco runs a modern, carefully maintained property in full Salento style. Every detail feels considered, from the tasteful furnishings to the impeccable room cleanliness. It’s peaceful, comfortable, and in a very convenient spot for getting around on foot. We had a perfect stay in every respect and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, high-quality place.

The hosts deserve special mention. They were kind and professional, and always greeted us with a smile, morning and night. The rooms were spotless and very quiet at night, so we could really relax. Breakfast was served on the fourth-floor terrace overlooking the sea, in an elegant common area full of natural light. There’s ample street parking. Gallipoli center is just 1 km away and easy to reach on foot. This place let us explore the town and surrounding area while still enjoying some peace. It’s the only place I’d choose to sleep and feel at home in Gallipoli.

The B&B is about 10 blocks from Corso Roma, a main shopping avenue, and roughly the same distance from Cimitero bus station. It’s outside the city center, but a walk there is fine if you don’t mind walking. The service and friendliness were outstanding, and everything at the B&B was excellent. They give you the keys. Breakfast was good, with fruit, toast, yogurt, coffee with or without milk, juice, butter and jam, cupcakes, cornets, pastis, and more. Along with the regular breakfast, they offer scrambled eggs or toast with ham and cheese. You eat on the balcony in the attractive common area, and there’s another balcony in the room with a table and chairs.

Our week in September was a great choice. The property is near the center but tucked into a quiet residential area. The rooms are bright and tastefully furnished, and the owner is extremely kind. Breakfast and cleanliness were impeccable. Many thanks to Barbara and her colleague for greeting us with such warmth and a smile every morning. They made us feel looked after and at home.
