Galileo Suites Apartments

The location near the sea is excellent, the interiors are modern, and the place was reasonably clean. But the value for money was truly poor. Wi-Fi only worked in the common area, not in our room, and the shared spaces were cleaned very badly. Towels weren't included, and parking cost extra at €10 per day. Our shower doors were broken and let water leak out. Staff seemed uninterested in our requests, including at check-in.

The rooms look nice, with modern furnishings and a wonderful view, but we felt completely unwelcome. It's the first time we've had an experience like this. A warm welcome matters, especially if you need help in an emergency or simply want advice on which beach to visit. We had booked a specific, more expensive room, but were first given a different one. It wasn't facing the sea as promised, but looked onto a nearby building that was under construction. After a lot of arguing, we finally got the room we'd booked. They also handed us the keys without checking who we were, which felt like zero security. There was no one to take us to the room because of their long lunch break, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, so after hours on the road we had to wait outside. Parking costs an extra €10 per day, and there's no breakfast, just vending machines. Absurd. If you're going to Gallipoli, look beyond the attractive rooms and consider the welcome you'll get.

I stayed here in August. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were definitely worth mentioning for their cleanliness.
