We stayed in apartment SUB 576. The location was the strongest point, close to everything and easy to get around from. The manager was very kind and helpful during our stay. The last two days, though, there was no hot water, which wasn’t pleasant even in summer, and the bathroom sink was clogged. We also had to buy all the cleaning supplies ourselves, since there were no products or tools for cleaning or tidying the place. The kitchen was short on basics like salt, oil, toilet paper, and detergent. There weren’t enough plates and glasses, and what was there didn’t match well, so we used paper ones. There were only a few cups, and they weren’t suitable for meals. Some interior locks were faulty and could leave you locked in, so it’s best to keep those doors unlocked. The house is fine, but better equipment and maintenance would make it much more comfortable.

The apartment was dirty, and some parts were damaged. We paid around €460 for four people for four days, with everything already paid through Booking, but just minutes before arrival they asked us for more money. The reason didn’t seem convincing, and they wanted the extra cash without an invoice. Be careful, especially if you’re young like we were.

We couldn’t use the terrace, for reasons I’d rather not get into out of respect for the people involved. Inside, the living room had no lamp, so we ate dinner in the dark for two nights. We had just two pans, one broken, and no brooms. We asked the staff three times, but they never brought any. Then the shower broke and flooded half the apartment.

Alessandra was really nice and always available, though the rest of the staff could be rude and weren’t always there when promised. The apartment itself is modern and well looked after, but it’s short on things like a mop and trash cans, among other basics. You can’t walk to the sea, but the central spot is handy for supermarkets and nightlife.
