We came with our family and dog in May, just before the season started, and it worked out really well. There were no tourist crowds, and the hotel staff gave us plenty of attention and were very accommodating. Breakfast was a nice continental spread, with bread, deli meat, cheese, jam, and cereal. The pool was chilly, but we had it to ourselves, which made it worth a swim. This was one of the best places we’ve stayed with a pet, and it was well worth the cost for our family.

We came for a week-long honeymoon but left after 36 hours. This felt like a two-star motel with a pool, not a four-star resort. Many of the staff seemed unhelpful and unwelcoming, and the place was very disorganized. For a wedding, they set off fireworks for 20 minutes at 1am, only 50m from our room, without warning us. We thought we might be staying in Syrai, not Southern Italy. The gardens were beautifully maintained, so at least someone there does a good job.

Set in the countryside, the hotel is in a scenic spot about 6km from Gallipoli city. The rooms are modern, service is friendly, and the pool area and sunbeds are excellent. I really liked the regional Italian food. Breakfast is a sparse Italian-style buffet, while lunch and dinner are available as a menu or à la carte.

The food is excellent and the restaurant prices are affordable. You can eat there even if you aren’t staying at the resort. Nice place.
