Palazzo del Corso

Mario made the evening especially good. He was professional, kept smiling, and gave us the kind of service you’d expect at a top hotel. My partner, her son, and I had dinner at Palazzo del Corso, ordering linguine with pesto, pistachio, and shrimp, which was delicious. We each tried a different cocktail, and they were all very well made.

The Glamour Suite had plenty of space for us and our 11 year old, and we loved our stay. Everyone was welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the location worked really well. We’ve already told friends and family to stay here when they visit Puglia, and we’d happily come back. Gallipoli also makes a handy base for nearby places, about 30-45 minutes away by car.

The family cooking class was a real highlight. Chef Andrea and his team were incredibly kind, and it made for a special experience. Francesca also went out of her way to help us. We loved the beautiful rooms, the location, and the varied, delicious breakfast. Our family had a great stay at the Palazzo. Highly recommend!

Dunia and Alessia at the front desk were the real standouts. They were warm and enthusiastic about their hotel and town, booked us a table at AMU Fish, pointed us toward very good gelato, and suggested the fun Togo Bay Beach Club. Leo at the terrace bar also made an excellent Negroni, and the bar is a cozy spot with good views. Breakfast in that same area was very good, with great staff there too. The elegant hotel is in Gallipoli New Town, a short walk from the Old Town. Our spacious Grand Suite was clean and comfortable, with a lovely water view. It faced the street, but closing the French doors kept the noise out.
