Palazzo Angelelli

Breakfast on the terrace was a treat, with a view and delicious pasticciotti. My husband and I had a wonderful summer stay in this beautiful historic property, right on the main street in central Gallipoli and close to everything. Special thanks to Michela, whose kindness and helpfulness made the visit even more enjoyable.

I was told the room was available and confirmed the booking, but the next day I was told it had been given up because the deposit needed to be transferred immediately. I had already arranged the transfer, which naturally takes some time, and, as I always do, planned to send proof once it was actually completed. They should have checked with me about the payment before cancelling. I found the way this was handled unprofessional and disappointing.

June 2025. The directions for getting there and entering the room were excellent, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. It’s great value for money, with the historic center just a short walk away. Free street parking is available. If you find a room open, don’t hesitate to stay here.

Michela was the highlight of our stay at Palazzo Angellelli. She was cheerful, energetic, and welcoming, and gave us recommendations for beaches and places to eat. The palace is elegant and refined, right in the center of Gallipoli, with spacious rooms, high ceilings, and tasteful minimalist furnishings. Everything was comfortable and worked well. Breakfast on the beautiful sea-view terrace was delicious, with a daily choice of pastries, including vegan options, supplied by Pasticceria Paolo, one of Gallipoli’s best pastry shops. The agreement with G Beach establishments at Punta della Suina and Bikini Beach in Baia Verde was a great touch. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Thanks so much, and see you soon!
